1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to FAYRWATCH, including viewer accounts, creator accounts, subscriptions, video streaming, content uploads, profiles, follows, watch history, search, recommendations, payments, creator payouts, support requests, and related platform features.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, creator websites, external links, or services that are not operated by Croissant.im LLC.

• use the platform from a browser or device.

We also receive data from third-party service providers such as Stripe, Supabase, Cloudflare Stream, Resend, hosting providers, security tools, and payment or fraud prevention services.

• create and manage accounts;
• authenticate users;
• operate FAYRWATCH;
• provide subscriptions;
• stream and deliver videos;
• upload, encode, host, display, and recommend content;
• personalize feeds and recommendations;
• process viewer subscriptions;
• process creator payouts;
• calculate creator revenue and creator metrics;
• send transactional emails such as confirmations, receipts, password resets, account notices, legal notices, and security notices;
• provide support;
• review reports and enforce rules;
• detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, account sharing, fake views, artificial engagement, chargebacks, payment risk, copyright abuse, and security incidents;
• comply with legal, tax, copyright, accounting, sanctions, and regulatory obligations;
• improve platform performance, reliability, safety, and user experience;
• protect the rights, safety, property, and integrity of FAYRWATCH, users, creators, rightsholders, payment processors, and the public.

6. Third-party services and processors

We use third-party service providers to operate FAYRWATCH. These providers may process personal data on our behalf or as independent controllers depending on the service.

Current service providers include:

• Supabase: database, authentication, account data, and backend services;
• Cloudflare Stream: video hosting, encoding, delivery, and related video infrastructure;
• Stripe: subscriptions, payment processing, billing, refunds, fraud prevention, tax, identity verification, and creator payouts if enabled;
• Resend: transactional email delivery;
• hosting, infrastructure, security, logging, and monitoring providers as needed to operate and protect the platform.

We may also share data with professional advisors, accountants, lawyers, auditors, insurers, payment processors, tax authorities, law enforcement, courts, regulators, buyers or investors in a business transaction, or other parties when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect FAYRWATCH.

7. Payments and Stripe

Viewer payments and creator payouts may be processed by Stripe or another payment processor.

When you subscribe, pay, receive payouts, request refunds, or provide payout information, payment data is processed by the payment processor. FAYRWATCH does not store your full card number.

Stripe may process payment data, billing data, fraud signals, tax information, identity verification information, payout information, bank details, and transaction data according to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

8. Public creator content and profile data

If you publish content or create a public creator profile, some information may be visible to other users or the public, such as your creator name, avatar, bio, videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, posts, follows, engagement, and public creator page.

Do not publish information that you do not want others to see.

If you delete content, it may take time for copies to be removed from caches, backups, search indexes, moderation systems, logs, or third-party systems.

Croissant.im LLC is based in the United States.

Personal data may be processed in the United States and in other countries where FAYRWATCH, its service providers, payment processors, hosting providers, or infrastructure providers operate.

If you are located outside the United States, your personal data may be transferred to countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your country.

Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, service provider commitments, and other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

10. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide FAYRWATCH, operate accounts, process payments, manage creator payouts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce Terms, and protect the platform.

General retention rules

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• If you delete your account, personal account data is generally deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, copyright, dispute, moderation, or legitimate business reasons.
• Transaction, billing, payout, and tax records may be kept for up to 7 years or longer if required by law.
• Security logs, fraud records, moderation records, copyright records, and dispute records may be kept as long as reasonably necessary to protect the platform and comply with legal obligations.
• Backups may retain copies for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted according to technical backup cycles.
• Public content may remain visible until deleted by the creator or removed by FAYRWATCH, subject to technical, legal, and backup limitations.

11. Account deletion

You may delete your account from your settings if that feature is available, or by contacting contact@croissant.im.

After deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer needed, subject to legal, accounting, security, fraud prevention, tax, copyright, payment, dispute, and technical retention requirements.

Deleting an account may not automatically delete all data held by third-party payment processors, tax systems, email providers, or other service providers where they have separate legal obligations or retention policies.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• access your personal data;
• correct inaccurate personal data;
• delete personal data;
• object to certain processing;
• restrict certain processing;
• request portability of your data;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• complain to a data protection authority;
• opt out of sale or sharing of personal data where applicable.

FAYRWATCH does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for third-party advertising purposes.

13. Cookies and similar technologies

FAYRWATCH currently uses strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication, sessions, security, account access, fraud prevention, and platform operation.

FAYRWATCH does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for targeted advertising.

If FAYRWATCH later uses analytics, advertising cookies, or optional tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy and the cookie controls will be updated where required.

14. Emails and communications

We may send transactional emails, including account confirmation, password reset, payment receipts, subscription notices, creator payout notices, security alerts, legal notices, copyright notices, moderation notices, and service updates.

If marketing emails are offered in the future, you will be able to unsubscribe where required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including authentication systems, access controls, encrypted connections where appropriate, service provider protections, and security monitoring.

No online service is 100 percent secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure.

16. Minors

• FAYRWATCH viewer accounts are not intended for users under 16.
• Creator accounts are not intended for users under 18.
• We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

17. No sale of personal data and no advertising use

• FAYRWATCH does not sell personal data.
• FAYRWATCH does not use personal data for third-party advertising purposes.
• FAYRWATCH does not currently run advertising tracking cookies.

18. Legal requests and safety

We may access, preserve, or disclose personal data if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

• comply with law, legal process, court orders, subpoenas, tax obligations, copyright claims, or government requests;
• enforce our Terms;
• detect or prevent fraud, security incidents, abuse, or illegal activity;
• protect the rights, property, safety, and integrity of FAYRWATCH, users, creators, rightsholders, payment processors, service providers, or the public.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify users through the platform, by email, or by another reasonable method.

Your continued use of FAYRWATCH after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
